Dr. Louis Miele, PhD, esteemed professor and author AND dance choreographer, Master of Ceremonies, and singer for the 1972 Francis Ford Coppola directed movie The Godfather, co-hosted with the Italian American Civic Association of Vero Beach, 1600 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, the Viva L’Italia, Italian Show, Dinner and Dance on Saturday, January 27, 2018, benefiting the Morning Star Society at http://www.alzheimerconsultant.com/, a member of the National Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and a 501c3.

A highlight of the event was a performance by Italian singing star Daniela Martino. Born in a village of Gargano, named San Giovanni Rotondo, Martino is presently in the United States entertaining audiences with traditional Southern Italian and folk music, Swing, Latin, Country and Blues numbers. She has become known as the nightingale of Gargano for her compelling and melodic voice. Discover more about Martino at

The evening was all about Italian American heritage. Dinner was served and the show and dance will commenced at 6 pm. In addition to Martino’s beautiful voice, radio DJ Gioacchino Jack Di Giorgio made an appearance, and Dr. Lou was on the dance floor with new dances to share.
