Pictured: “Tea Party under the Royal Poinciana Tree,” medium: paper (recycled papers including tea tags, raffle tickets, wrapping paper shreds, shredded paper and envelopes, on repurposed sign board). Heart of Art, a documentary by Camy De Mario
HEART OF ART is a short documentary by Camy De Mario of the Florida Art Chix bloggers. The documentary features a diverse group of Vero Beach Art Club (Florida) artists who gather on Monday evenings, hosted by the Art Chix (De Mario and fine artist Judy Burgarella) and share their talents and stories.
Through candid interviews, HEART OF ART captures the essence of these Monday night gatherings. GetShotByElla.com creator Ella Chabot appreciates being part of the journey with De Mario and this inspiring assemblage of artists.

Artist Ella Chabot, creator of GetShotByElla.com, was honored to place second, adult category, in the Lagoonapalooza Art Contest, Environmental Learning Center, 255 Live Oak Drive, Vero Beach, Florida. The art awards were presented Saturday January 25, 2025 at noon on the Pavilion stage. The art contest was part of the Music and Nature Festival Lagoonapalooza held on January 25th from 10 am to 6 pm at the Environmental Learning Center with lots of eco-activities and live music all day. (Pictured work is Mixed media: recycled paper shreds and acrylic on 2 plastic VHS sleeves folded together.)
