The Art of Healthy Living End of Summer Event, for parents and children, was held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Raw Space, 1795 Old Dixie Hwy, Vero Beach, FL. The event was
presented by Growing Healthy Kids, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded by Nancy L. Heinrich, M.P.H and hosted by Art Concept Alternative and Raw Space.
In celebration of Vero Beach sea turtles, wellness architect Heinrich led kids and their parents on a healthy living adventure including facts on turtle habitat and healthy eating activities, with a take home recipe. Additionally, participants painted turtles made from recycled materials to be part of a collaborative sculpture with Ella Chabot, creator of GetShotByElla.com, who was an exhibiting artist in the Summer Collective Show at Raw Space through August 2019. The final work will benefit Growing Healthy Kids at a future auction event.
