The Art of Healthy Living, a class for adults, featuring rock painting and healthy snacks, is featured at Raven Nest Design, 1716 US Highway 1, Sebastian, Florida on Saturday, September 16, 2017. Visit or call the gallery at (772) 205 – 9751 to register.
The class runs from 10:30 am until 12 pm. Participants will sample heart healthy snacks and art materials are included. The fee for the class is $15, payable to Growing Healthy Kids, Inc. Proceeds from the class benefit the Growing Healthy Kids non-profit organization’s workshops at schools and children’s non-profits that inform kids and parents about how to make healthy food choices.
Ella Chabot, Florida artist and GetShotByElla.com creator, partners with Nancy Heinrich, M.P.H., non-profit Growing Healthy Kids, Inc. wellness architect, in presenting The Art of Healthy Living.
Chabot will conduct a rock painting workshop focused on sea turtles. The project is designed to encourage self-expression and immersing in the creative process. Chabot, a multiple media artist, photographer, and former children’s art director, exhibiting at Raven Nest Design, will offer painting tips and guidance.
Heinrich will share garden based snacks and food advice aimed to lower blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and weight.
